I am open on the question of style and era, but something that has a classical knightly look?. Mid calf or higher but not past the knee. Would prefer brown leather.

Looking for offers or suggestions on vendors. Will consider used. I am US size 12.5 or 12 depending on the style.

Bohemond has a good reputation; sometimes a long wait.

I have had a pair of boots from http://www.armlann.com/ for years, and love them. Jon's a great guy.

Viking Leather crafts!!

I have the 14th Century Jousting Boots with the lugged soles. They work well and are comfy. My only small gripe is that the black dye comes off a little too easily where the leather is subject to abrasion (around buckle holes on the straps and at the toes)

Cheers
Oze

He now does boots in regular shoe sizes you can order. At very descent prices. I have bought multiple pairs from him and his service is great.

I have to voice yet another vote for Viking leather crafts. I've been fighting in a pair of their 13th C shoes with the thin rubber sole for multiple years now and they are still holding up great.

I'd highly recommend Viking Leather Crafts. I've got boots from Bohemond and VLC, both are awesome products, but for fighting I prefer the ones I got from VLC, I wear the Bohemond boots to the Faire though ;)

Love my Bohemond's. I've walked around two wars now in them, and they're just as comfy as any modern shoe. I was lucky and found an off the rack pair that fit at his Gulf War booth.
