Post by Genkuro »

Konbon wa,
I am looking for a SCA legal kabuto. If anyone can help with this I would greatly appreciate it.

I have 1 relatively high end in stock. What size and type are you looking for?

Sorry it has taken so long to get back here and reply. Mundane life jumped in the way. My size is large, as far as type I am not sure about that. I am not sure how to describe the type unless you are refering to what seems to be the four main types that I seem to find everywhere on e-bay of the 4 famous generals.

Any help in this would be greatly appreciated.

Well you got Zunari & bachi for starters.

I highly recommend you read up here: http://www.sengokudaimyo.com/katchu/0.Katchu.html and read the section on kabuto.

In my honest opinion there is really only one maker of quality and more importantly ACCURATE kabuto that can function in an SCA environment, and thats Mykaru.

You get what you pay for and lemme tell you even when I thought I would never finish my SCA Japanese kit, I would never get rid of my kabuto.

Domo arigato Merlin. I couldn't find the link to the site But have rebookmarked it. And the style I was looking at was the Haribachi. As I don't need anything to catch a glancing shot on.
