I'm a PC gamer on a budget. I'm looking for something in the i5 level(or higher) processor with or without a motherboard for a reasonable price. If anyone has any 2nd hand components or system for a reasonable price, I'd be interested.

Consider an amd phenom II. That is what I am using, not quite as fast as an i7 but compares pretty well to an i5 for gaming (plus these days your video card is almost more important) and the amd processor is much cheaper.
