I re measured my head and this helm tonight, I had it advertised for a 23 inch head,

I found that it actually Fits a 23.5 to 24 inch dome. With about a half inch of padding

It has a handmade hinge, superior shaping, Drilled for a liner, Vervelles installed for an aventail, Made of 14g Mild Steel,

I have some brass trim I cut that can go around the vizor and other areas if you want more brass on it for more money,

I have a riveted aventail for this helm I can sell or install for more money,

cracks me up this helm wont sell for 450, its bad ass. Which is why I dont make armor for a living anymore :p

Helmets are a hard sell at the moment. It seems more folks are buying limb and body armor. This helmet looks to be worth much more than the asking price. GLWS!

23" is on the small side and 14g mild is on the thin side. Especially given the press on concussions and proper padding lately.
For those looking for a more historical appearance those occulars are massive.
These factors keep people like myself purchasing something like it. There seems to be an audience for every type of helmet, so I hope one comes in with a price range that works for this sale. Good luck
