OT: Germanic Lyre

Hand made (by me) reproduction of an early Germanic lyre, loosely based in the 6th century Allemanic lyre from Trossigen. I forget what wood it was made of. I have metal tuning pins for ease of use and the strikes are Aquila Nylgut strings to recreate the tone of real gut strings. The bridge is moveable and is bone as is the tailpiece, with red bone inlay. The sound chamber is hollow.
Very easy to play, especially if you tune it in a pentatonic scale, no knowledge of music theory required! It has a bright and clear sound and just plucking away at it, finding chords and harmonies is quite therapeutic. Great to accompany story telling too and engage in lyrical battle raps with your foes. Can also have a pickup installed on it so you can plug into an amp and terrify the neighbors, Dark Ages style.
