Assorted Gauntlet Sale - Silent Auction CLOSED

Post by geeome »

Selection of new and used gauntlets for auction - individual details below.

This is a SILENT, SEALED BID AUCTION - please read these simple instructions to understand what that means.

These gauntlets are all being sold through a private “sealed bid, silent auction.” Rules are as follows:
If you want to make a bid on one (or multiple) pairs of gauntlets, please send me a private message or email [geeome(at)gmail(dot)com] with your bid. "Your bid" is: the amount, in US Dollars, that you are willing to pay for the set of gauntlets you are interested in winning.
At noon PST on Monday, Jan 9, I will accept as "the winner" the top bid for each set of gauntlets. (Preference will be given for tying high bids offered for multiple pairs - that is to say, if you are tied with someone else for the high bid, but you have WON the bidding on multiple pairs instead of just one, your offer on that tying bid will be considered the winner.)
No running bid tally or "current high bid" will be posted or announced! If you are worried about being out-bid, just submit a higher bid.

Shipping will be added to the cost of each bid. Gauntlets are being shipped from ZIP 92071. I am willing to ship USPS Priority or UPS Ground, your choice, depending on whether you want it quickly (Priority) or as cheap as possible (UPS). If you want to calculate postage, please do so yourself via either (or both) of those services’ online cost calculators. Weight for each set of gauntlets is listed below, which you can double (two gauntlets!) for shipping calculation.
(I do not guarantee that my shipping cost will be *exactly* the same as your estimate. Packing materials sometimes add to the weight of the shipment - and you do not want me to pack your nice new gauntlets poorly. But it will give you a ballpark cost that will be within 2 or 3 bucks.)

My guarantee: If you buy any of these, and find they do not fit, I will refund the purchase price (minus shipping costs) as long as they are returned in the same condition you bought them in. (I’m not trying to stick anyone with gauntlets that don’t fit.)

1: Gothic style mitten gauntlets - new
Made by Andrey Galevsky
Hardened spring steel, 18 ga.

Sorry everyone - Earlier I said "silent auction" when what I meant to say was "sealed bid auction." Yeah, it's hell to get old and have your mind start to ... what's that word? ... "go." ;-) I apologize for any confusion.
