Well into my efforts to clean up my craft room and get rid of armour bits I'm no longer using, these go too. This used to be my lamellar body armour. After losing 75 pounds, it fit me like a barrel. I took the whole thing apart with the intention of taking out plates and relacing it smaller, but I decided in the interim to switch to a more fitted style of armour.

This lot of 326 plates is made of wax-hardened 10oz. brown leather. Should be enough for a vest for an average sized man or a roundish woman. These plates started out as a single hide and a piece of another hide and were cut, trimmed, waxed, and drilled by hand. They are not machine uniform or perfect but they are quite handsome when laced together. They also smell great. I mixed vanilla candle scent into the wax and never had to worry about a stinky armour bag. :D

I will take $100 OBO for the lot and will throw in 200 yds. of dark blue olefin lacing cord. You pay your choice of shipping method. A lot of time and effort went into these and they served me well. I will be glad to send them on to a good home.

Thanks,
Grainne

The plates are 1.5"x3.5" and average 3/16" in thickness.
