These are actually the prototypes, but they came out okay.
The quillions were hot hammered from 3/4" stock tapered down to 1/2" at the end, then welded to a peice of pipe, ground, and balls welded on, and grinding, grinding, grinding. These would go for $50-$60.
1. How do you intend for them to mount to the weapon?
2. The points where the pipe meets the rattan is very pretty, but might make marshal's nervous and I can understand why. In a bind where there is lots of pushing and shoving going on and weapons are bound up together someone could get raked with a sharp point.

Very pretty though. Matching pommels definitely.
The quillions are designed to be 2ton or 5min epoxied on, the points should actually be embeded into epoxy.
I do make Period Wheel and Brazil Nut Pommels. Here's a pic.
