I need to retract the earlier statement about Black Shield Armoury. The proprietor didn't just flake out, he got deployed overseas which is a BIG difference. Deployment can cause sacrifices to be made. Sometimes in a big way. And a deployment can happen with very little notice. If I were in his situation and had a choice to make between making my customers happy and making sure my family was in good shape before I left I'm afraid my customers would get the short end of the stick.
Please, give this guy a chance. All of you who are armouring were in this guy's position at one time. Just starting out, no rep, no customer base, etc. I've seen worse (lots worse) stuff offered on ebay than this guy's stuff. I'm making arrangements with him to get the spaulders I bought from him. He made a concerted effort to get in touch with me and make things right. I'll post a review when I get them. Let's give him a chance to show his work and not write him off as a craftsman.
