No, I have another bookmatched sunburst Les Paul that is fairly beat up that I played on the road for 30 years. I'm keeping it for sentimental reasons, plus this one will fetch more.
I also have a 100 watt Marshall stack, beat to hell, that I've played for my whole professional career, carrying the 45 watt as a backup. Even though the 45 watt is more valuable, I'm selling it, since I'm more attached to the 100 watt.
I have to choose between the Gibson ES1275 doubleneck and my old Hummingbird, which will be the hardest choice I've ever had to make, neither being a backup. The P.A. equipment is going as soon as I find a Nashville music store willing to handle consignments.
As soon as I get some pictures taken, look for some armour for sale as well on e-bay, the MacKenzie-Smith 16th C. jousting armour on his front page going for sure. I am only $15,000.00 from owning this farm, and the concept of completely owning my house is worth the sacrifice. Plus, it just doesn't seem right to have all of these cool guitars and not really use them anymore. They were made to be played - and remember: "Only a Gibson Is Good Enough". (From the headstock of a pre '40s Gibson hollow-body.)
