Hello all,

Just listed a Makita JS1600 electric metal shear on ebay. I bought this item used back in March of '03 and never got around to using it before buying a Harbor Freight B2 knock off from Talbot.

Any questions let me know. If an archiver wins the auction I will pay shipping in the Continental US, just let me know when you win so I know to expect short payment of the shipping costs. Better yet, come to an Aethelmearc event and I'll hand deliver it.

only one bid so far, nobody needs an electric shear for cutting metal (all be it very thin gauge)?

Guys this is what I use all the time. It cuts 14ga mild steel just fine. I love mine and use it all the time. I actually prefer it to a beverly. Anyway the price it's at now is a steal not sure on the US price but these things are about $500 CDN new.

Thanks Matt,

looking around the web I found them new from just under $300 u.s. to over $500 depending on the web site.

As I said, I bought it and never used it.... just looking to get my money back and it off of my work bench.

thanks all
Will
