Eric Slyter (who runs Vistar Armoury) runs the Arador Armour Library BBS (http://www.arador.com), and has been part of the armouring scene for a long, long time. Not likely to be going anywhere any time soon, would be my guess. I don't think I've ever bought any armour from him, but I would not hesitate to do so if he had something I wanted.
