Can I get a sticky for my Wise Ogre complaint?

Post by WaaaghBoss »

Not really, but I figure with all the HW negative stuff, I feel left out... I sent money to Gundo 3 years ago... Armour that was supposed to be ready in 3-4 months. I purchased my spot in Gundo's queue from someone else who had been waiting 2 years...

Damn, I spent $2K and all I got was some lovely emails... I even took a trip down to Gunso's place to get fitted.

All the HW stuff made me feel left out.

Cheers!

What gets me about this guy was that he was such a self-righteous ass when he was a regular poster on this board, then he goes and disappears with people's money.

Nope.
I waited to see if he would contact me after his anouncement this fall, but ended up contacting him last month. I am (apperently) #4 on the refund list.

I sent a queue-reserving down payment late in 1999, when Andrew first posted here on the Archive that he was taking commissions for spring steel armor. My armour was to be ready by Pennsic of 2000.

I last heard from Andrew in December, when he said he would start refunding my payment in September of this year, after he finished refunding two other people.

Funny, I have sent Andrew a few emails asking what is up and haven't heard a thing from him.

Can someone PM me with a current email for Gundo?

Thanks!

Hey, #5 on the refund list would be better than nothing... although not holding my breath...

He may have taken people's money and I know it hurts, Accdntprne from the archive took my money and never sent a helm I bought, but Gundo was a well meaning guy. He helped quite abit and gave me some armouring tools. I hope he refunds all the money. I would not mid seeing him on here again.
