viking age boots for fighting? Boots have to a good rubber sole.

Adam got some nice toggle closure boots from Bohemond. Crepe soles etc...
Modern construction, but far better than combat boots. They look pretty good.

I wear boots made by alastair which are getting pretty beat. I am thinking about getting a pair of the same design from chivalry bookshelf, with the rubber sole this time.

You might also try armlan - or if you are feeling really flush with cash plantagenet shoes although I dont know if they will add a rubber sole to their work.

He sells them through Mandrake armoury. Tough as nails, nice looking and wear nice (from what I have heard) and he can put rubber lug soles on them.
