Del Tin Sword for sale

This is on behalf of Chris Cushman.
An older Del-tin sword that he took in trade and has done some refurbish work on.
$350.00 plus shipping.
I'll get you in touch with him if you are interested.
I can also get different photos if need be.

Are you
sure that's a Del Tin sword? It looks exactly like an discontinued Museum Replicas sword (made by Windlass Steelcrafts in India) which definately has no part of it made by Del Tin. Does it have the Del Tin stamp on the blade? If, so, can you post a close-up pic of that area?

Agreed.... I have that sword, I got it from Museum Replicas like 15 years ago. It's nice, but it ain't $350 nice.

Just a drop note: 15 years ago, most of MRL's blades were Del Tin's. This was Pre-Windlass.

Yep, Chris Poor and Del Tin were major suppliers of the earlier MRL swords and other weapons...
I ordered a 1500 Claymore and missed the last of the Del Tins... and ended up with a Windless instead....

Yes, I'm aware of that, but if this is the sword I think it is, it has a Windlass blade and as someone else pointed out, is worth nowhere near that price. I hope someone didn't trade $350 worth of armour or something for it.

The blades were often supplied to MRL by Del Tin (it very well could be be a Del Tin blade)... the furniture added by MRL... not the same quality as what was coming directly out of Del Tin's shop, IMHO.
Personally, if it IS completed by MRL... with only a Del Tin blade... I would not give more than about $150.00 for it (the value of the blade).

I believe the phrase that Chris used was something along the lines of...
"This one is old enough that when it was originally purchasd you actually had a good chance of getting a good blade."
I'm willing to trust Chris's word that this was a good one that has also had some loving care done to improve it, but hey, I'm not buying it.
