I was a member of the Folio Society out of London a few years ago, and after buying a few selections (its basically just a really high end book club) I recieved this 4 volume set.

It was originally priced at over $200 for the set, obviously, I'm not looking to get even close to that. You cant even get these books unless you're a member, and theres no ISBN to go by, but I can give you a link to their site where you can look at similar volumes and see for yourself if this set is worth the price to you. Sold as a set only, I'm not breaking it up.

The entire set is called: Empires of the Ancient Near East, and includes the following:

The Babylonians, by H.W.F Saggs 444 pages, hardcover, 16 plates of color photos of extant artifacts, 12 plates of B&W photos of monuments, carvings, etc. Maps adorn the inside covers.

The Hittites, by O.R. Gurney, 240 pages, Hardcover, 12 color plates, 12 B&W plates, maps on inside covers

The Egyptians, by Alan Gardiner, 479 pages, hardcover, 32 color plates, maps on inside covers.

The Persians, by J.M. Cook, 374 pages, hardcover, 16 color plates, a massive 6 page foldout of the east stairway of the Apadana in Persepolis, with B&W plates on the reverse of the foldout. Maps on inside covers.

Its a gorgeous set...the kind of books youd see in a library in a mansion. I'm just not into ancient stuff, and theyre collecting dust on my bookshelf.

I'd like $75 for the whole set plus shipping.

Heres a link to their site to look at the quality:

They use the finest paper, binding material, the covers are full buckram (whatever the hell buckram is!).

These books need a home where they'll be cherished, not forgotten like they are here with me.

I'd be happy to answer any other questions you may have.
