I have never dealt with him personally, but all I have heard is very good reviews. Unfortunately, I haven't seen his recent work though...
What are you considering getting? I may know of other armourers I can recommend.

A friend of mine received a Teutenkoff helm from him that was very nice and quick turn around. He has nothing but good things to say about Waldryk.
I liked his work enough to order a helm from him at Gulf Wars. He was great to deal with in person. My helm is due this month, so I will be posting my review when I get it.

When asking Brannos about people to goto for a new helm he mentioned Waldryk as a good choice.

Most of the armor used in my local shire is by him. I have used several pieces myself and found them all top quality and very good for the money.

This is not an attack, just an observation from a person who was in the market for a helm.
I've attempted to commision work 3 times now (2 sepeate contact attempts in 2003, and one more recently in 2005) and have yet to receive an email back, except for one automated reply stating that they were at Gulf Wars and would contact me when they returned.
On the other hand the work I have seen both on their site and in person is very nicely done for a price that is more than fair.
I would say that as long as you are comfortable with the communications (such as calling vs email), the product is worth it.

I have purchased from them in the past and delivery was quick. The armour was very nice but I did have one small complaint about their gauntlets. The thumbs are stationary and I had some trouble getting them to pass locally.

A dear friend recently ordered a set of small spaulders from Waldryks along with some other items. The spaulders were supposed to have been in stock and it took roughly 6 weeks to arrive. When they did arrive one of the articulations on one spaulder had extra holes drilled into it. Needless to say she wasn't really happy. On the plus side she did say that they were pleasant to talk to when she communicated with them so I would call it a mixed review. It is unlikely she will order from them again however.
From the other comments I am inclined to think that this may have been a momentary aberration on their part but there you go.
cheers,
kris
