Found some very nice Egyptian reconstructions on ebay.
Thought I'd share. These look really good.

Hey Mike,
Thanks for the plug. That seller is Andrew Walpole, who does some non-professional archealogical studies, primarily of weapons and armor. He recently sold his excellent bronze copy of the Dendra Panoply to Dan Howard. It is THE most accurate one ever made, using the real deal as the guidelines! Only one other full sized version has been made of bronze that we know of, and I haven't been able to look at that. Peter Connolly made one some time ago that is 1/3rd scale, but Andrew has examined it and has notes some flaws with the design (besides the size! Lol!)
He checks in on those of us in the Bronze Age gang now and then, and we're always happy to hear from him, as he's seen so much! All of the things he makes are based on direct pieces that he's examined, for the most part! He's also been selling some other stuff slowly.
He's shown us these Egyptian things before, and Todd Feinman has the high bid on the shield at the moment. I don't think I recognize the other bidders.
Cool stuff, huh?

Not a problem!
Hey, you may end up even posting MY stuff, but there's always the chance it'll be new to the gang, and we appreciate people keeping their eyes out for it, even if they have little interest in it! That's one thing this community is about, right?
Cheers!
