Hey folks,

I've got a Deepeeka Viking Sword with hilt and pommel based on the Hedeby find. The sword is rather hefty, but not too hard to wield. It's got a good blade, and it's dulled, as it comes from the factory.

The paint on the one I bought was coming off, and was not a good job. So, I did my best to remove it all, but as the picture shows, some of the black is still visible. It's not quite as bad as it seems by the picture, because the flash really picked it up!

I'd suggest repainting the scabbard and hilt, but instead of using money on that myself and charging more for the sword, I'll leave it to the buyer to do as they wish. I originally paid over $100 for this sword, and am going to let it go for $50 as it is, now. The blade still has some kind of lacquer over it that they put on at Deepeeka, so it's got very clean look to it.

The scabbard is standard Deepeeka, with nothing special about it. The sword is a little tight in it, and was even moreso when I purchased it, but I worked out the opening some, so it slides better now. Still has a "stick" to it at a couple of points in the draw and push, though, probably due to uneveness on the inside of the scabbard.

So, $50.00, plus shipping in the US, which I'll do for $20.00. Insurance is another $5.00. If you're out of the country, shipping will vary...

Thank you, and have a good day!
