Partial helmet sale for fast cash. Cheap bowls.(many pics)
I am in need of moolah. Who isn't. I have a few things in the shop that are not complete, but may be of interest, and I'm selling them cheap.
First up, a couple of partialy finished Bascinets.
<img src="http://www.whitebatarmory.com/partials/bascpart1.jpg">
<img src="http://www.whitebatarmory.com/partials/bascpart2.jpg">
#1 is 12g CR mild steel. Pretty much ready to go except for the visor and a teeny bit of clean up, right now it's at about 80 grit finish. Measures 10" front to back, 8" side to side, and about 29" around the inside all at the brow line. Asking $80.00 + $12.00 S+H.
#2 is 14g stainless (hot dished bowl halves) Ready to go except for a visor. Little smaller, measures 9-1/2" front to back, 7-1/2" side to side and about 27" around. Asking $120.00 + $12.00 S+H.
A couple more, in need of much more work.
<img src="http://www.whitebatarmory.com/partials/partial1.jpg">
<img src="http://www.whitebatarmory.com/partials/partial2.jpg">
Bowl 1 was supposed to be a salet. Needs quite a bit of grind/sand/clean up on the outside, little shaping still etc. Good start. Still needs interior seams welded. measures 9-1/2" front to back, 7-1/4" side to side and about 26-1/2" around. 12 gauge HR mild. Asking $50.00 + $12.00 S+H.
Bowl 2: 12g HR mild um.. a bowl I guess. 9-3/4" front to back, 8" side to side, and about 28-1/2" around. Needs some clean up on outside and, still needs inside weld. Has a small crack 1/2" long on the right side on the inside corner. Could easily be welded shut and ground out. Asking $30.00 + $8.00 S+H
Some more bowls:
<img src="http://www.whitebatarmory.com/partials/partial3.jpg">
<img src="http://www.whitebatarmory.com/partials/partial4.jpg">
All of these are 12g HR mild
Bowl 3: needs little outside cleanup but bowl itself is a little rough. Still needs inside weld. measures 9-1/4" front to back, 7-3/4" side to side and bout 27" around. Asking $20.00 + $8.00 S+H
Bowl 4: needs outside weld ground, needs inside weld, needs some sanding or planishing, roughest of the bunch. measures 10" front to back, 8" side to side and about 28-1/2" around. Asking $20.00 +8.00 S+H
Bowl 5: Needs less clean up, but kind has strange shape, and is big. Measures 10" front to back, 8" side to side, and about 29" around. Asking $30.00 + $8.00 S+H.
I can throw interior welds on any that need them, but I'd rather not have to do that. I will NOT be doing any sanding or grinding on any of them.
All of these will be sold as is, no promises. Ask any questions or whatever up front. I'm not trying to say that these are great, they're not, but with some TLC they'd all be pretty good.

I will take this one...
What method of payment would you prefer?
If you can throw the interior weld I will appreciate it as my welder is down right now. Thank you!

Britehelm : Checked my PM's and nothing new in there, please Re-send.
Dante: I'm not set up to take paypal at this time. Have been considering it for a good while now and should probably do that soon. If you want to wait a bit till I can see if I can figure this high tech stuff out, that's cool, if you're feeling impatient, check or money order might be faster.
There is a rivet hole on one side of this one, but not the other. I can leave it, or fill it up when I weld the seams for you, your choice. Also have a partly shaped visor for it. Visor is probably better off as an example of what nto do, but if you want I can send it along, no extra cost.
Roibeard: Check or money order, or if you want to sit back and quietly chuckle with Dante while I try to figure out Paypal, I might have that going in the next couple days too. Will get that weld thrown in.

I know this sounds weird, but I won't be able to mail a money order till friday... paypal would have been quicker for you.
Don't need the visor, but I'd appreciate you filling in the rivit hole.
Thanks.
I'll send the money out Friday morning. I'll include my snail mail address in the envelope with the money order.

Bascinet shell #2
Hi Matt,
I've a couple of questions for you, well three really.
Is Bascinet 2 still available?
27 inchs around the brow - is that on the outside? (I've a 23.5 inch head - will it be ok with padding??)
and lastly - postage to Australia (Tasmaina, 7310)?
