Star Wars/Misc. Books for Sale!

Post by Gerhard von Liebau »

Got some books for sale. Right now I'm really low on cash, so this stuff is being parted with! I'd never thought to sell books, but I suppose this is what it comes down to.

-Budge, Sir Wallace. Egyptian Religion. Hardcover, 1959. Used but in good shape. 225 pages. $5.00

-Dorset Press. The Iliad and the Odyssey. Large, illustrated book for kids. I'd say 12-13 years of age, good. Tells the stories well! Hardcover, used but in good shape. Dust cover took most of the stress, it seems. 1991, 150 pages. $6.00

-Barba, Rick. Medieval: Total War, official strategy guide. Softcover, just what it says! Good guide, for sure. I've kept it in pretty good condition. Wear on corners and such from being looked through a lot. Softcover. $5.00

-Bradley, John. World War III: Strategies, Tactics and Weapons. Cool, large book from 1982, in wonderful condition with some wear on dust cover. Tons of illustrations. Chapters cover full idea developed about a conflict at that time. About 250 pages. $12.00

-Sandness, Karen. Japanese: The Easy Way. Great introductory book to Japanese, I'd say. 306 pages, soft cover. It's got an English-Japanese and a Japanese-English mini-dictionary in the back of it. Good structure to it. Bought it a while back, but I definitely don't have time for Japanese! $6.00.

-Sansweet, Stephen J. Star Wars, from Concept to Screen to Collectible. Softcover. I got this as a little kid. Book is in used shape, but has lots of nicks and such on most corners, and cover has lots of embedded lines on it. I suspect that's from me using it as a drawing pad... Also a crease down front and back, with a couple of pages on either side, from opening down the center. (Sigh) Awesome book from the mid-90's about Star Wars mania stuff! Tons of photos, 130 pages! $5.00

-Saxton, Curtis. Star Wars: Attack of the Clones, Incredible Cross-sections. Newer book, hardcover. Cool one with lots of the big pictures of the vehicles with fold-outs on some. The dust cover is all that's messed up around the corners. $6.00

-Johnson, Shane. Star Wars: Technical Journal. Hardcover, good consition with wear on dust cover. Lotsa' cross-sections, fold-outs and such. Only about the original trilogy. Cool, big book with 190 pages! $10.00

-Kevin J. Anderson & Ralph McQuarrie (illustrator). The Illustrated Star Wars Universe. Lots of awesome concept-like full-page artwork and descriptions of different planets in the Star Wars universe, very cool stuff. The dust cover has a rip on the back, inside. I drew all over the red page in the front as a kid, but the rest (the important stuff) is in great condition. Probably the best Star Wars book I have! About 210 pages, hardcover. $10.00

-Mangels, Andy. Star Wars: The Essential Guide to Characters. Great condition, tons of stories and sketches on all sorts of characters from the movies, novels and comics. About 200 pages, softcover. $8.00

-Smith, Bill. Star Wars: The Essential Guide to Vehicles and Vessels. Same as above, but for vehicles and craft from all of the stories. Great cross-sections and sketches. Also about 200 pages. More wear than the other, since I looked at this A LOT. Still perfectly useable. Softcover. $8.00.

Videos:

-Six video set by Questar. Ancient Civilizations. 404 minutes total. Used in a classroom, but I haven't watched them myself. I trust they all work fine, as I know the guy who gave me them very well. Titles include:

Cleopatra: The First Woman of Power
Fall of the Aztec and Maya Empires
Seven Wonders of the Ancient World
The Land of the Pharaohs
Rome and Pompeii
Athens and Ancient Greece

SOLD

-Six video set by Kultur. Lost Treasures of the Ancient World, Volume III 300 minute running time. I've watched a couple. Well put together, lots of 3D recreations of stuff. Titles include:

Ancient China
Samurai Japan
Empires of the Americas
Ancient India
The Celts
The Dark Ages

I bought the set new in Washington D.C., spent a bundle...

SOLD

Hopefully I'll have more to sell, soon. I'm just having to make decisions selling this stuff! $4.00 shipping on each book with $2.00 for each additional book. $8.00 shipping for the video sets. I'm really in need of selling this stuff, thank you!

Paypal, money order or personal check will work.

Thanks again!

(on Pennsic) I know that movie. It is the 13th warrior. A bunch of guys in armour that doesn't match itself or anybody elses, go on a trip and argue and get drunk and get laid and then fight Tuchux.

No, I'll do both sets, shipped, for $42 total. I doubt I could go with less than $12 on a box that large with fragile items in it that I'd likely add insurance too.
