Hey Chris, I'll post you a pic of the manifers (as soon as I get the camera software to work - never upgrade your computer ) - greaves went to my former squire (and now very much KIT - knight in training).
Hey T- got the payment, will ship kabuto ASAP.
Still more items for sale...have had one bite on the Ice Falcon gear and the rest of the joust harness may be spoken for...get in on the sale while it lasts.

I might be interested in both of these. Could you post pics, sizes, and prices please. And do you have the 4th spangen or does that piece need to be made?Lloyd wrote: I will post the other two "helm" tops I have tonight or tomorrow.
One is two dished halves with attached "roman-like" side plates (that have rivetted brass pieces inscribed with Norse runes - don't ask me, I didn't make it).
One is 3/4's of a spangenhelm (yep, 3 out of 4 spangens already rivetted to attached bands).
Thanks,
Tex

Update to for sale items will look at trades.
Tex, I still can't download pics yet, but I'll get you specs as soon as I can. The 4th spangen would indeed need to be made - Asking $25 + shipping for this one.
I found another pair of dished helm halves (mild steel) - should easily fit a 24" head with padding - $15 + shipping.
The very unusual Viking/Roman pieces would also fit a 24" head with padding pretty easy. This appears to be a helmet that was taken apart at one point. $25 + shipping.
If you use Paypal, please add 3%.
I'll get you pics as soon as I can of these and the other armour pieces I am trying to get gone.

All of the helm tops have been sold.
I have a very mismatched lot of other items (pics to come ) such as:
1 right hand demi gauntlet in aluminum.
1 steel bracer and half of another.
1 gothic style tasset.
1 set of "boiled leather" tassets? on a belt with another single piece of boiled leather (I have to get a pic of this) - Could easily be used as Asian-style spaulders (which is really what it looks like).
1 boiled leather backplate (breastplate was accidentally destroyed) size XL
1 set if mild spaulder lames (16ga) no spaulder cop
More stuff to come as I dig down further...

how much you want for the boiled leather backplate and what are the dimensions (XL is kind of vague when dealing with people who wear armor ).
I'll give you an extra $5 for the story entitled "How the breastplate "accidentally" got destroyed!" Bet we could make it a move and convince Matt Damon & Ben Aflack (however you spell that) to star in it
post here or shoot me a pm. Shipping would be to 14215.

I'm betting that the story involves a dog and a breastplate chew toy

Hi William,
I would like to get $20 + shipping for the backplate. I'll get the dimensions for you tonight.
As for what happened to the breastplate - Well, the breastplate was never properly formed (my wife said it looked like it had a single masectomy, as one side was decently shaped and the other was...hmmm, how do I put this...deformed). I rewet the breastplate, reformed the leather and put it in the oven at a low temp to cure.
Unfortunately, at some point in the day the oven went from low to 550 which, while it did give the steel breastplate I was using as a form a nice blue sheen, turned the leather breastplate into a rock hard piece of armour that a leprachaun would have trouble fitting into.
I did manage to salvage my wolf insignia, but that was about it. And Joe, I have considered letting Taz have it for a chewtoy, but haven't due to the leather dye (Joe has seen the size of my puppy).
So that is the sad tale of the destroyed breastplate....

Whoops, I haven't managed to bake armor into unusability yet, but I have accidentially set the oven to 'clean' while i was making dinner (it locks until it's done). Yeah leather dye would probably be bad for Taz. If you still have the bp maybe you could turn it into coasters or something .

Has the helm with the crack been sold yet? If not, can I see pics and how hard would it be to fix?

I don't have the ability, right now, to post pics
I think that I posted the size of the crack further up the post, but I will check it again.
This helm SHOULD NOT BE CONSIDERED A FIGHTING HELM. I jousted in it because Museum Replicas was my sponsor, but it is too thin to fight in. Now for demos, educational shows, etc. it is fine.
LOOKING TO TRADE THE ICEFALCON ARMOUR FOR EARLY BRITON LAMELLAR HARNESS AND/OR OTHER 5TH/6TH CENTURY ITEMS (such as Coptic tunics, etc.)
Unfortunately, I have about $400 and need to come somewhat close to what I have in it.
Make an offer, let's deal![/b]

Lloyd-
I am interested in the IF body armour. I am also quite handy with a needle and thread.
Some reviews of my work are in the links at the bottom. I also have what has been termed a "boat load" (or was that "buttload") of fabrics, including linen and wool, in case you have a more favourite tailor/seamstress and would rather trade raw goods.

Unfortunately, life demands that I need the cash and I cannot go any lower.
This is nearly $700 worth of armour for half of that. How many new fighters would love a deal like this?
Here is a chance to get on the field with seriously kick butt armour for song.
Thanks for looking.
