Flat Ring Riveted Maile Shirt for Sale $300

Post by Primvs Pavlvs »

From Kingslance around flat 8mm rings, riveted with round rivets. The galvy has been stripped and neutralized. Will easily fit someone with a 48 inch chest. 300 plus shipping Would be perfect for late Roman to early 15th century I done some looking around and I found out I was asking too much for it. They are selling for 299 on ebay. I assume since this one has had the galvy removed its worth at least 1 dollar more

If it is the same model as mine, and I think it is, it's just a little over 19.5 lbs.

I asked the very same question via e-mail...

He would need something like $675. for it...

He just didn't think any of us cheapskates would pony up that kind of money for a LH helm.

Cheers,

DT

(I was hoping for a $200 or so price tag...)

Since several people have IM'ed or emailed me about this helmet I must assume that its one of the best Klappvisiers out there. I am really not in the market to sell it, but I will entertain offers of accurate 1st century Roman gear.

No, it's just that we all noted a pattern with your listing stuff for sale... about the only things you have left from your 14th century outfit is the braies, hose, hat, helm...

and maybe that renfair turkey leg.....

Sadly while I do the Roman thing too... I don't have any gear to spare.

Cheers,

DT
