For sale: 2 SCA chains
For sale: 2 SCA chains
I’ve heard them called Knight’s chains, Squire’s chains, Fealty chains, etc. So pick your title and that’s what they are
. To raise money to grow my armor fund I’m putting two chains that I’ve recently made up for sale. They are made in one continuous loop so there is no weak point to worry about. Both were made to fit over my 23â€Â

Nice chain. For future referrence, an SCA Knight wears a gold chain. Brass being the normal substitute. Squires wear the silver chains.
Depends on where you are at. Different Kingdoms have different traditions.
Lone wolf:
Those are spiffy looking chains. And reasonably priced too. I would take into account and look at the possibility of making some "gold" chains as well. You can then expand you possible options of market.

Hmm, I often wondered about that. Thanks for the info! I'll probably offer these in bronze as well if I get any interest.

Looks like I'm going to have to edit the title again
. Thanks Sieg I was really happy with how the roundmaille turned out (picture to come on Friday when I get a chance at the home computer). I can make these in....hmm at least three different materials? I'm going to go back and edit the original post again.

Those are looking hot,
good lines, well made and just flat out spiffy.
again, I would say, invest in some "gold" stuff, post it and I would not be surprised if you can at least turn around some fair reimbursment.
You may want to consider coming out to more events and displaying. People like to buy what they can feel and touch

Thanks for the compliments Sieg
. I normally sell at 4-6 events per year but I'm in need of some cash so I can pay for a new helm so I'm putting it out early.
