AL Lammelar plates

So, I couldn't part with the helmet (for those of you who checked out my auctions).

So... I was wondering if anyone knows where a man can get ahold of some aluminum lamellar plates... If they happened to have some sort of black coating that would be very dandy!

Greetings Halfdan,

I am selling T6 aluminum plates, they are like the Visby D-shaped plates which are so popular in the European Viking scene. They are approx. 1" wide x 3" long. [ .062" thick, so they are quite stout! ] I can do black anodizing, or recommend an iron colored option that is less expensive.

Price is $.40 per plate
$.17 additional per plate for anodizing [This price is subject to change.]

+ S/H & Tax [I am in Cleveland, Ohio]

A vest has approx. 500-550 plates. I will post pics of a couple suits and individual plates asap!!

preferably a suit made from anodized.

how much does a vest weigh? (5'11" 230 lbs if that helps)

I am working on some pics, Vladimir. Hopefully by tonight. My vest weighs approx. 8 pounds. Yours would weigh approx. the same. I am 6'-2" and 215 lbs
