My wife is very good about letting me have my stuff all over. She also like the stuff so she has her own harness as well (although the 15th century brig with placard is going away for a full brig likely or late COP design I think). In our last place we had one room for just armour, weapons and tools... my work shop. I did get chidded a few times from bringing projects inside and bringing dirt and grime inside, especially when she vacuumed some cut up bits of rivets and the vacuum needed open heart surgery....
I hope my kids really like armour when they get older so I have a good excuse to keep up on such a large scale!

My wife is pretty understanding as well. Though she does not participate, she puts up little fuss with the fact that I have finished and unfinished bits of armor in my office, in the guest room and at least three helms and other bits in various stages of completion all over the garage.

Lord Bless the understanding wife of a current middle ages (and aged) man.
