Adding the little heraldry to the profile

Post by Glaukos the Athenian »

Hello,

How in heavens do I add the reproducing shield to the profile?

Evey time I try is like buying a gift for the wife, too many pixels, image too large to post....

AHHHRGH!

(cleansing breath)

Thanks!

Get the image you want, go into MS Paint, and then keep "stretching" the image by 75% until it is below 75x75 pixels (you can see how big it is in Windows when you save it). Then upload it.

Looks like a boar, flower and a couple of bars at the top. Looks just as "high" quality as mine.

Thank you

It is supposed to be something like A chief gules and Argent, Purpure, a Boar Passant, Argent, a Rose, Argent.

The blazon includes red and white, the colors of my source group, the Needwood Company of Archers. the Purple is my personal color, and the white Boar and Rose represent a homage to good King Richard, III, last of the York line of the Plantagenet kings and last king of England to die in combat. The most maligned and wrongly accused king in history.

I was reading Maurice Kendall's biography of Richard, and the battle of Bosworth could have easily been made into a Kurosawa movie like Ran....

It is also cool that by tilting the blazon 90 degrees and stretching it, you can make it into an awesome Wars of the Roses banner. (I am having one made during the winter)

Thanks!
