(on Pennsic) I know that movie. It is the 13th warrior. A bunch of guys in armour that doesn't match itself or anybody elses, go on a trip and argue and get drunk and get laid and then fight Tuchux.

They have been tested in real use and have held up very well. They are fairly soft, a little less stiff than backpacking pad, for example.

They will be offered at a later time without the rattan along with a kit for installing them, however these three prototypes are mounted on rattan shafts as part of their construction process.

Is the skull really that flat? That eliminates one of the benefits of using mass weapons, in that you can't hit them with a flat...
I also find $20 to be steep when this is available: http://reviews.ebay.com/USPS-FLATE-RATE ... LISTINGS:4
The flange mace is very cool.
