Ebay SCA leg harness

Post by knight1396 »

Hi everyone..
I listed a pair of IceFalcon legs on ebay.
http://cgi.ebay.com/SCA-Leg-Harness-Arm ... dZViewItem

Just thought I would post it here too.
I hate to sell this, but we are under some pressure to get our house sided before the weather gets real bad. I am almost done with it.. about 5 square short so, I am selling off some of my SCA armor.

I also have an older Stainless IceFalcon SCA bascinet w/lifting bargrill I am gonna sell.
I dont have a pic yet. I am removing the aventail tommorrow.
If anyone is interested here.. let me know I will get you a picture. I think $100 for the helmet plus shipping.

Thanks!!

Dougal- I am a 23" brow.. the helmet has about 3/4 thick foam padding- it fits just fine.

Hey Thorstenn, will do it tommorrow. I have to get the aventail off of it and clean it up.

Take care!

looked at you other listings and got excited at the bucklers till I realized they were cymbals for a drum set. ;-)

Henri,

I will buy back the helm from you. Just send me an email as to where you would like the check. I hope you are not backing out of the SCA. You are just the type of person the SCA needs to stay involved....

Your Grace- Nope, not backing out.. Thanks for the compliment ! This helmet is one I keep so that me or my squires always had a back-up. After my armor was stolen I have had a hard time getting comfortable in a helmet. This has been ongoing for a year now.. I have a helmet His Grace Ronald sent me. Right now just gotta build a bargrill for it. I am actually feeling a little more motivated right now thanks to a certain Norman AE Knight and his great squires.
I hate to sell that leg harness you did for me, but as I stated, we are really under the gun on the house stuff and short on money to get it all done.

Stephen- that is really funny.. so yeah, cymbals too.. The 14" ones could be strapped up I think.. everyone on the field would know you are fighting

Ceddie- I didnt know "you" wanted it.. I thought you said you would see if you knew anyone interested. I am totally sorry about that, If you want it you have first rights to it as we talked about this at least a month ago. I will send you a pic when I get home tonight.

Yikes, Sorry for the confusion.

The leg harness is sold.

Glad to see it sold, was just about to send a link to my guys, to see if any of them who do the later period stuff wanted them.

Will be good to see you around, have missed ya.

Thanks Finn!

Ceddie is first as I misunderstood his intent on another forum when I was thinking about selling this stuff.

You guys might want to wait for the pics too, its not the shiny beautiful helmet it used to be  myself and 2 of my squires have fought hard in this helmet.

I feel bad as I should have just posted it rather than mention it .. I dont want to seem to be playing favorites as I know most of you guys.

Its gotta go in this order- Ceddie, Dougal, Randy, Thorstenn, Andreas, Irish. In order of refusals..
I'll take pics tonight.
