For those into the new SCA jousting I have started making these lance hand guards. They are made from 10 to 12 ounce vegetable tan leather and hardened in my mix of carnauba and bees wax. They are approx 10 inches across at the base, with a 2 inch hole at the top and are approx 2 inches deep. If you want them to be a little deeper overlap the lacing holes rather than butting them up against each other.

colors available are black, blue, green, red, and brown. Cost $25.00 each
