Need to raise funds for Sewing Machine, Scale Armor Sale

My canvas sewing machine has given up the ghost. So I need a new machine. I have leads on a couple but need to raise $400.00 fast to buy the new one. So I am offering this suit on Sale for $300.00 to bring in the needed funds. I also have 3 brown splinted kidney belts for $65.00 will fit waist of 38 to 46 inches. The one with the number is showing the inside liner. That number is not visible when the belt is worn.

Hey man, check into harbor freight.. I know a lot of their stuff is crap, but the industrial sewing machine they offer looks like a good buy.
Ive got a reducer and a walking foot on my adler and have considered getting one for faster material work..

I didn't know they even had them. My general rule of thumb for Harbour Freight is their stuff is usually great for light duty. I have a 1" band sander for edging leather, a bench mounted drill press, various hand tools, and bench vise. But when it come to heavy use or production I don't trust them all that much. But I have to admit that the sewing machine and table are not a bad price. I have a lead right now on a Singer 281-1 complete with motor and table.

Yea, I kinda look at their product with a skeptic eye, but the machine looked pretty good... I was thinking of getting it for garb.
Yea, if you can get a used singer at the same price I have to agree there..lol

I've got the older HF model....
I spose one of these days I should put it together try it out and write a review.
I can say that the motor is heavy and huge. Bout the same size as a small bench grinder. machine is belt driven off the motor.
Supposed to do 5/16" thick no problem. Better keep my fingers clear.

Yea, they need pretty good sized motors.. My adler does 1/2 inch leather so its gotta have some power behind that head. With table and all its about 500 lbs. Had to unload it with the forklift when it arrived.
If you ever run that thing, let me know how it does, because Ive considered buying one for some time.
If nothing else Torvaldr, we are keeping this at the top of the list! hahaha
