Kettle hat....made by a Japanese film company. Quite a nice piece. Got a leather liner. Roped edges.... Purdy brass appliques. $145

Torso mannequin....had a lot of demand for these things. $55

Sallet cast...I found this going through the rafters. Cast from an original in the RA, by a sadly defunct company. Will require some clean up with a dremel or a few hours sanding but a superb piece for the shop to study. $112

......take all three for 275

Do you make torso cast with a head to display mail, surcoats and helms?

I saw a rubber one that's used for kicks and punch practice.
It looked like GI Joe.
Not too bad for my needs.

I need something better to take pics of kits on.
The styrofoam wig head sucks.

The torso is some kind of very rigid foam. Its definately strong enough to support a mail shirt for example. I used to use them for similar purposes.

How thick is the kettle helm?

Id imagine the kettle hat is about 16 guage...maybe 18...its hard to tell as the edges are rolled. Sturdy helmet, definately. And the brass appliques, while simple punched brass, look greast. Its ready to wear....has a buckle, strap, liner. You might want to re-dye the strap and liner as I think they are modern tanned, but that should be easy. Certainly a great walk-around hat at Pennsic at the very least. Im only selling it because Im working on a few more.
