Review of Eldesar.com

Post by Adamo »

I just got my aluminum lamellar in today, it looks really good, the plates are consistent and TINY! I expect lots and lots of flexibility out of this suit.
I'd recommend eldesar.com to anyone looking to purchase lightweight lamellar, especially as a good alternative to plastic.

Adamo,

I would appreciate it if you could rate eldesar on four categories.

Quality of gear
price
Customer service (communication)
and
on time shipping.

Thanks

Freiman,
On quality:
I haven't fought in them yet, but so far I've inspected 100 out of the 450 plates I've purchased and they are all identical, a few have some light surface scratching but it's lamellar sitting in a box, so what do ya expect? All the holes are deburred and smooth, to preserve the life of the lacing.
Price:
At $.45 a plate, it's right in line with plasticlamellar.com and something like 1/3 cheaper than WMA, though WMA's plates are stainless, whereas these are aluminum.
Communication:
Great. That's really all there is to say. He answered all of my e-mails promptly and even sent me a few websites informing me of the method to acid etch my plates, if I decide to.
Shipping:
I sent the money order last week, the plates arrived today. No complaints.

Hospitaller,
lol, it's ok.
