I have several leather crosshilts ready for immediate sale. They are made from 4 layers of 12 to 15 ounce vegetable tan leather, glued together with Barge's Cement, smoothed and edged, and center drilled. The center hole is typically 1 1/2 inches long by 1 1/4 inches wide. I can do just about any shape of crosshilt and center hole you want. Color available are black, red, green, blue, and brown. Below is a picture of some of the ones I have on hand. They are $10.00 each, shipping is typically about $5.00 for one up to 5 or 6 of them.

Hi Torvaldr,

My wife is interested in "ready to put on" SCA "Tsubas" for her katana, wakizashi and ōdachi.

How much would "tsubas" cost (SCA legal, able to be easily mounted to the weapon, etc...)?

Examples are on this link:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tsuba

I think they would be easy to do in leather...but I don't work in leather. She would want the tsubas to be green. Her SCA name is Midori Fujiwara (midori means "green").

With respect,

-Aaron

Are those the round hand guard? If so it would be the same as the rest of these. $10.00 I would just need to know the dimensions.
