I posted this here just so His Grace did not need to cut open a little kilo sized package of fine armour goodness I swear in the package stacked up it looks like a cartel care package  I am looking to find the max stretched chest and relaxed chest measurments along with length of the sleeve as well as the length body. Can any of the kick ass folks who hang out here help a brother out.

Olaf

Ps. Lets see how long it takes his grace to look at this post

I have an XL. I have a 53" chest and it fits me comfortably.

Stretched out chest - 28"
Total length of shirt - 35"
Arm Length from top on shoulder - 15"

Not sure if relaxed chest really matters, and well kind of hard to get an exact measurement of it.

Like I said, the XL is supposed to fit a person with a 60" chest. I have a 53" and it fits me nicely.

Hope that helps.

The SS is Flat ring dome rivit's. I had to cut my sleeves down by 16 rows ( it hung down to the middle of my forearms ). while looking spiff, realy cut down on my arm mobility YMMV.

And they are packaged like a "cartel" package.

Cheers

Yep, Sixtus answered it, the SS is flat ring. Mine hang over my elbows also, but I actually am keeping it there for now. My last shirt was that long also, and didnt bother me, but I have low profile stuff under a shirt already, so kind of used to something being over my elbows.

Honestly dont know yet. My old mild version stayed blackened pretty well. Have only had this shirt for a week.

So will let someone else who has had their shirt longer let you know. But if its anything like my old shirt, it stayed pretty blackened pretty well.

His Grace would probably also know as far as chemical or heat, I have no way of knowing. If I had to make a guess, I would say chemical, but that is just a guess.

Thank you for the info Sir Fynn. The blackening is chemical.

Excuse me your grace,

This looks like the same stuff Von Susssen is selling. Or have I been hit too many times in the head. :)

To those that do where chainmail. Does long sleeves really interfere with arm motion/rotation?

Von Sussen has another manufacturer. It is chainmail but from somewhere else. Just like plate armorers, there is a difference in chainmail suppliers as well.

Cheers!

It depends on how well the sleeves fit. Usually it's not an issue.

Bring it! I can always use the practice. One can not be king one day if you do not take on your betters.
