Steel demigaunts in small sizes?

Post by Tibbie Croser »

I may want to get metal demigaunts for Atlantian Cut and Thrust. Any recommendations on plain, simple demigaunts in mild steel or aluminum for small hands? The Ashcraft Baker website has clamshell demigaunts in small. Anyone have experience with those demis? Any other merchants?

Leather (or steel over leather, like Stonekeep's demis) is an option, but I'm concerned about the bulk. The gloves I'd like to use are the Light Sparring Gloves from Revival Leather, which are already padded. It seems to me that low-profile metal demis might work best over these gloves.

Appearance isn't that much of a concern, because I will probably paint the demigaunts or cover them with thin leather or fabric.

If you're interested, I have a small pair of half G's in stock. They are my regular ridged-cuff version, $65/pair. They can be seen here, 2nd pic down (click on thumb for larger pic):

The pair I have are about 3-5/8" across.
