I just talked to our supplier yesterday about the status of the maille. He is running behind due to some sort of holiday over there. All of the pieces are complete with the exception of the stainless chausses and voiders. (Yes, Aaron, I said voiders.....)

I told him to go ahead and ship what he has done so far so I can deliver before Pennsic and have the rest for stock at Pennsic. He was supposed to have an invoice to me yesterday and I still do not have anything. I have dropped him a line about it today. As soon as I have in invoice, the wire transfer will go out and the shipment will be made. It is about 2 weeks after that I recieve everything at the shop and start shipping.

I will continue to update you all as this occurs.

I am putting together an order for the Fall now. If there is something that you are interested in for the fall shipment, pre order now and I will make sure it gets to you when the fall shipment arrives. The stainless steel mail in stock is already fairly depleted so put your orders in now if you want it for the fall.

Woo-hoo! Voiders. I can't wait!

I got an email from our supplier telling me that he should have the shipment out tomorrow. Hopefully I will have most of the orders in by Pennsic. This still might not include voiders and chausses. I will keep you all informed.

I just talked to DHL and the shipment is in Germany. They say it should take another 2 days before it hits the US. If customs is very quick (rare), I will have the chain before Pennsic. If not, I will delivery as soon as I get back.

Here is what I am expecting with this order:

6mm Hauberks m,l,xl
stainless aventails m,l
flat steel skirts
mild and stainless chausses in L
6mm chausses in XL
mild and 6mm voiders
plastic chainmail shirts in m,l,xl
1 XL stainless hauberk

Stainless voiders and XL chausses will be sent within the month.

I will keep you all updated.

I saw a sample of the 6mm stuff today and was impressed with it. It is a very good proportion for voiders and similar bits of supplementary mail defences.

The chainmail is now in NY. Hopefully I will have it by tomorrow.

Still no delivery. Looks like I will have to send this gear after I get home from Pennsic.

I leave tomorrow morn.....

I am having this shipment rerouted to Pennsic. If I owe you something from this order and you are going to Pennsic, stop by to pick it up there. Otherwise I will ship it off to you when I get home.

I will also have some new damascus and plastic chainmail with this order. Stop by our booth as Pennsic to check it out.
