100% Linen Tunics for sale NEW

Post by Sibilla »

I need to make some extra cash for events (and new armour), so I'm selling 100% linen tunics to those who are interested.

Tunic shown is made from high quality linen in a rich burgundy, trimmed with ginger linen. The color of this fabric is far nicer in person. Professional seams. Will make in two sizes; either S/M fitting up to a 40" chest or L/XL fitting up to a 49" chest. Asking $79, including shipping within US.

I am possibly interested in a tunic, however I see that you are brand new here, can anyone here vouch for you? and where abouts are you located?

Calontir. I started a contact group here in Fairfield, IA about a year ago. My husband, Llynewyn, and I are members of Sir Dirk's household, if that helps at all.
Other than that I will have to see who I know that frequents the archive and get back to you.[/quote]

My wallet is too thin and my body too thick, but it's a nice looking tunic.

Looks great, but even the "large" one wouldn't fit me. :(

If you decide to make 'em any larger, let me know.

thank you for the info, I hope I didn't come across rude, but there have been a few people register, run an ad offering to make a gambison,or some other cloth bit take the money& disappear, so with Jen knowing you personally that helps quite a bit.

No offense taken. I don't blame you for being cautious.

The tunic itself measures 54" across. I only suggest no more than a 49" chest to ensure roominess. Most the guys I know like their tunics pretty loose.

Yep, I'm open to custom work.

I've actually been wanting to make a longer tunic. Just wasn't sure whether or not anyone would be interested.

I like that alot, and the price also piques my interest also. At that price, I would stop making my own!
Like some of the guys here, I also need a larger size...Something that would fit in the range of 54-56" chest. Unfortunately, Pennsic is eating most of my spare cash right now...But later this year it is definitely a possibility.

Just received some stunning blue linen. Anyone interested in a blue/indigo tunic with ginger trim?

Also working on making some larger sizes, and will post new pics shortly.

would you happen to have any photos of the new colors? (trim laid over the bolt would do)

I tried taking some pics of the new linen tonight, but my house is too dark and the colors just didn't look the same. So I will try again tomorrow during the day when the light is better.

If anyone has a particular color they are interested in, I can try my best to find it.

Yep, I sure can.
Would you still want two strips of ginger trim or just one?

New tunic! I really like this one. It's long and moves well with your body, though, the next one probably won't have as long of a slit in the neck.

Btw, the fabric colors are a bit darker in person than they are in the photo. Look to the new tunic pics for a better idea of what the indigo looks like.
