Jorvik shoe
Communication was excellent.
Turnaround was excellent. Aside from a snag in customs here in UK which was no fault of Bohemonds, the product arrived very quickly.
Quality: Excellent. I'm wearing my boots now and they are quite comfy. The tread is a bit slippy, but that may also have more to do with the laminate floor I'm standing on. I'd even wear these out on a night out. They are quite stylish!
Bohemond was also accommodating with a simple request for the toggle material I had.
Overall:
Excellent. I look forward to doing business again with Bohemond. I recommend his Jorvik boot highly.

Heya I was recently looking at those and was wondering how the toe on those are, say if someone stepped on you during practice. also would those be okay for a norman decended 11th century varangian guard member.

I have 3 pairs of his shoes, and all of them were fantastic investments. I fight in a pair of his jorvik boots, and as for getting your toes stepped on? I would say that its about the same as any non reinforced toe. I have had my feet stepped on plenty in them. But just to be clear... They are not a hard toe, and if you get your foot crushed its gonna get crushed just like if you were wearing any other non toe capped boot.
But they look fantastic and for me at least they have provided great support.

Seaweed,
Yes these Jorvick style boots would be appropriate for that persona.
If someone stepped on my toe, I bet it would not feel too good as the boots are soft. I'm not sure I'd wear these at a huge melee like Pennsic, but I will try these out at my next practice.
Many here on the archive swear by them. I've yet to try them out fighting.
I'll update later on how I like to fight in them after I've done so.

I picked up a pair of his Jorviks at Pennsic.
They were very patient with my brain-dead, exausted, burnt out questions.
They are verrrraa snazzy, I got to wear mine at a Demo last night.
Top Marks for:
Communication (I was standing right there, and the only customer in the shop)
Product: Kick ass shoes. Kick ass soles.
Price: These things last years. A little bit of an investment, but they are on par with the cost of the mundane boots I used to fight in.
Delivery: You gonna wear those home? (Yes I am!)
