MUST SELL KNOTWOLF HELM!! (and I did, too!)

Due to circumstances I would rather not go into, I MUST sell this helm before Friday night. This is a DARK AGE MASTERPIECE done by Richard at Knotwolf Armory- it even has Mandrake's "Celtic Dog Head bottle opener" above the brow ridge! The 4 lobe top is copper over cold rolled, and the entire thing is pitted in the style that has become synonymous with Knotwolf. It has NEVER been padded or worn. It was delivered shortly after Pennsic XXX, but it was also about that time that I stopped fighting-- and doing anything period. The measurements are:

30" around the brow (exterior)
8" long from the top to the bottom of the cheek plate
10.5" interior depth from back to nose bridge
5" long rear slats

ADDENDUM~~ the interior circumference is 26.5 inches

I hope this helps, and if I can get more measurements please let me know.

I will add pictures to the Archive shortly, but for now pictures can be seen here: http://philadelphia.craigslist.org/spo/813098829.html

The helm was over $750 when I bought it. I'm asking $550 for it, plus shipping.

PLEASE HELP. I have legal bills to pay ASAP. Thanks everyone.

Bump, because I care.

Sadly:

1. It's not my time period -- or Maureen's or Nicholas'
2. I don't have the money right now.

Ivar,

Edit your post title to say "Must sell Knotwolf Helm"

It will get more attention. Richard's helmets have a good following, hopefully someone will jump on this.

Good luck,
(pimping Knotwolf helms any time I get the chance!)

If anyone can swing it, maybe a group of people could chip in and get it? Then they can auction it off, or use it as a prize or something. I'm just in "full on panic mode" right now, and REALLY need the money. The closer I get to Friday the more nervous I get... and for those of you who have met me, nervous is not something I do very well. It leads to paranoia, then to depression, and finally, RUM.

So... consider this a plea from the guy who supplied more B2 Beverly shears to armorers than anyone except Beverly. I know I'm not part of the organization anymore, but my heart is still in it, even if my body isn't.

...on a side note, I found 3 sets of stainless shoulder spaulders when cleaning up, and somewhere around here I have a rubber axe head. As soon as I can I'll post them as well. Is it alrght to post non-armor related stuff for sale here? I can't remember anymore....

~edited to remove mace lobes... I can't find them

I haven't seen any problems with non sca stuff being sold, other than maybe having a licensed ffl dealer receive any firearms.then transferring them to the buyer

Ivar, contact your state's Legal Assistance program.
You can get free legal help, even if its just to delay things.

You should be able to get the # through 411.

Sorry man, he passed it up.

Also, I may have missed it but are the steel parts stainless or mild?

If they are stainless I may have another buyer for you.

But don't save it for me.

There is NO stainless on it at all. But thanks for trying.

Payment has been made, and I want to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their assistance and caring. I always knew I could count on The Archive, but this proves it. You are all really cool people. Well, maybe not all of you... but definitely the majority

Anyway, thanks again, and I'll keep this post up for a few days so people can see how awesome you all are, and what seriously amazing helm everyone else missed out on. Please check out my other ad, the "Down and Dirty Dash for Cash" sale if you are looking for anything else.

Greetings,

Sweet. The only thing better than a Knotwolf helmet is two Knotwolf helmets.

Glad I could help, Ivar, I can't believe it sat as long as it did.

1: Why didnt I think of that?
2: Why isn't the standard on every early period helm?
