I just got my gauntlets back from D'Antioche and all I can say is D’Antioche Rawks.
I had purchased a set of 14c hourglass gauntlets from him a couple years back. At the 2007 Crossroads in Time, I broke a strap on the left gauntlet during the Deed of Arms. Not a show stopper, but a real nuisance. I had, for the next year, promised myself to get in and repair it. I didn’t get to it.
Fortunately, at the 2008 Crossroads in Time, D’Antoiche happed to show up and he gladly took the gauntlets. He not only repaired them, but upgraded all the leather on both gauntlets.
Again I say D’Antioche Rocketh like the Spoketh. Buy things from him.
