I'm guessing Highland Steele is the name of the company that made it? Correct?

Yes. It's one of the famous "Brickslayers" made by Highland Steele. I never knew the name of the smith - Renn fair and SCA people might be able to supply that - the smith passed away about half a year after I bought this from him.

Is the pommel peened on visibly, or is there no visible peening?

I can't recall the smith's name if it's the one I think you mean (I'm thinking Peter). It makes the warranty invalid, as they are only covered for the life of the smith.

One of my swords is a Highland Steele. Love it.

Third picture down http://home.comcast.net/~tullfan007/sca/sword.htm gives a good look at the pommel.
