Lots of new stuff up on madmattsarmory.com

Post by Mad Matt »

Hey webmaster has been doing updates and I've been forgetting to post em here.

Anyway cervelieres are up. Also new legs, shield baskets and shield blanks. Possibly more I can't remember. Fingermittens will go up soon I've gotta send a pic with the new thumb though.

New products always go at the top of the page in their category so they're easy to find. Have a look at the other stuff too if you haven't before.

Thanks,

Sorry I've only got a 52 in stock. I do normally offer 56 though.

The kits are just the plates as well as instructions tech support and including instructions which are very easy to follow for making the shell pattern.

The plates are cut deburred drilled and shaped ready to go.

You'll need either leather or canvas for the shell and rivets. I prefer the two piece ones because I'd rather the rivet fail then the shell material. But the holes are sized for roofing nails to be used as rivets as well.

Do you know approximately how much they weigh when finished?

Looking forward to the new shield boss I ordered last night. You have some damn pretty things up and once I have the money you'll be seeing alot more of me on your order forms. *Laughs*

As it is I have permission for one purchase weekly to finish up the armour I need. Next week is my elbow cops.

Love the look of the Round Top Cerveliere. Can I get a couple of extra pictures? I need straight on front and straight on back.

The coat of plates kits weigh between 10-15 pounds depending on size.

On the cerveliere I've got the round top tall one with flared bottom and removable slats and grill in stock. I can get you more pics of that one if it's what you're interested in. Let me know. The other one pretty sure that's all the pics I've got.

Thanks Matt

That will work fine for me. Both styles should work for what I'm planning. Besides I like the flare bottom better.

Heya Matt,

I tried e-mailing your sales e-mail but guess it did not work.

Was wondering how much coverage your Body-Bracelet gives. Is it just belly/solarplexus and kidneys? or does it cover the entire chest.

Thanks alot,

Hey I didn't get your message for some reason.

It just covers belly solar plexis sternum and kidneys and all the other organs not covered by ribs.

Will try and get more pics for the cerveliere this week.

By the way the removable slat back and grill is attached with countersunk 1/4" machine screws that go into nuts which are welded to the inside of the helmet. Which means if you want to make it look like you've got a coif underneath you just punch holes in your leather strip to match the nuts. Easy to install remove and replace. No rivets to peen or anything.

Also the one in the pics is in stock in mild.
