PFS: original KRUPP DEL TIN raw blades....no furniture

Post by Andrew Young »

I bought up a bunch of Del Tin blades when Museum Replicas was making the tranfer from Del Tin to the Indian stuff.

I have toyed around with making the furniture for these blades but Im not sure when Ill ever have time to get around to making the parts, finishing the swords.

A handful of late viking through crusader blades. 3-6 blades (I have to check) I paid about 250 per blade; they are after all, very good blades. They can take a severe bend and very sharp edge...it was that Krupp steel)

I might consider somewhere around 150 a blade. (knocking off 100 bucks).

If you bought more than 2, Id knock off 125 a blade.

HONESTLY I want to keep these but I see no point in keeping something for a project I dont see getting to for a long time.

Email for pics.....

Argh. I am so tempted, but broker than broke. I've already put myself in hock for armor bits I haven't finished paying off, and I haven't even done my Christmas shopping yet...

If any of these are left in January, might could do something.

What has become of this? I have seen no furhter e-mail, PMs, or posts here. Should I assume that you have decided not to sell the blades afterall? If so, good luck and do post pictures of your completed pieces!
