Sold: 68" Necklace of Honey & butterscotch amber

Up for Auction is "Sun Dance" - a 68" inch (total length) necklace of light golden honey and butterscotch Baltic amber. This piece is graduated in chip bead length, with the central pieces measuring over 1/2", tapering to approximately 1/4" at the "end."
There is also a slight concentration of golden honey amber at the center, easing out to a more butterscotch heavy mix at the narrowest point. The amber is interspersed with golden metal (not gold) beads with a lovely spiral pattern. The pattern is on both sides of the beads.
The necklace is strung on the highest quality / flexibility rated coated metal wire, due to the weight and length of the piece (similar pieces I've made in the past using knotted waxed linen cord simply broke after a few wearings). This beading wire flows like silk cord does - if you did not know it was strung on wire, you wouldn't guess, it is so flexible and smooth flowing. At each of the golden beads, the piece is crimped - so should it ever break (unlikely) the whole thing won't come "unstrung."

I'd like to start bidding at $60.00, which is less than a $1.00 per inch of this gorgeous amber. Shipping will be via Priority Mail from the post office, with insurance and delivery confirmation, unless otherwise requested.
