Interest survey on anodized aluminum lamellar plates

Greetings all! I have found a place relatively nearby that will anodize plates for me. What I would like to know, is how much interest is there in getting anodized lamellar plates. What color(s) are people interested in? What price range would people feel comfortable with?
A couple places that I checked with, quoted prices for anodizing that were between $1 and $2 apiece(not quite worth it in my mind). This place is quoting about $.50 or less depending on quantity.
I'll be sending some samples to get an idea of quality and transaction, but I wanted to get a bit of an idea on interest level.

I'd be interested and colors like black or a dark grey would be cool. Bronze color as well.

I like the look of the acid etched stuff, are you able to do that?

Black and a bronze type color were the two that I inquired about.
So would $.90 apiece(for example) be too much still?

If the bronze color really looks bronze, I would be interested, but am I reading right that this would mean $1 per plate?
If so, well, maybe, but I'm trying to put together a big order for multiple people including some college students, and they are much more interested in the non-anodized price.
Main thing is to have a color that doesn't look like aluminum! How about the grey anodizing like on Cahphalon pans? Otherwise, I would want steel.

Unfortunately, yes. They're the cheapest I've found so far. I'm going to see if I can work the price down at all. Otherwise, the amount of interest that I've gotten back hasn't been very much. It may not end up being worthwhile for me to add this as an option right now. But I'll give it more time and see what happens.
