I really need to find a reasonable Japanese Helm

Guys,
I have a buddy that is looking for a reasonable Japanese helm.
He has been hunting for several months, with money in his pocket, and he can't find anything.
He has been hunting for the perfect helm, but at this point, time is getting a little short.
He would very much prefer not to wear a converted helm. The direct quote is "I refuse to go onto the field looking like Sh*t".
So, if you actually have one, please let me know.

Mykaru's Jingasa is no good? If I had known I was going to do Japanese when I started, I would have snatched one up (for less than my mild steel Ironmonger bascinet!).

Actually I've only got 1 small jingasa left. They were originally meant as starter helms but overseas shipping tends to bump the price of even cheap helms.
Freiman,
I am in the shop full-time again, so when he's ready to move up have him contact me.

I would recommend Shamrock Armory or Black Hydra armory. Both make an excellent Japanese Helm.

Wanna buy the last Jap helmet you will ever need?
Black Hydra armoury is the bomb.
Working with Mykaru is also the bomb.
That is all.
Heres one

I have one that I would pass on to someone for what I got it for here .
Let me see if the posting is still up. Its one with the hanging rings of hardened leather and a seperate mempo face and a bar face as well.
I bought it last year on a whim, probably never use it.

Unfortunately the pics don't work on that one anymore but I can get some when I get home.
I paid $110 with shipping and I'd take that for it.

its big as well 31" around the bottom of the cone. 9" across about 10" deep.
The masks are separate from the helm and the lames are hardened leather.
