Looking for coat of plates pre-cut plates only. I would like to know who makes them. I want to assemble it myself I just need to find the plates.

You might try Winter Tree Crafts. They sell a fully assembled CoP based on the measurements you give them, but you might be able to work something out to buy just the plates. I know MaddMatt used to sell a CoP kit, but sadly, he's no longer in business.

As Maghnus stated (thanks) I can provide finished steel plates ready to be riveted onto a shell. This includes cutting, deburring and beveling (knife edges = bad) hole punching and bending the plate and in the case of mild steel, priming and painting.

My price would be a bit higher than standard CoP kits and would depend on the size and number of plates needed. The reason for the higher price is that I do not offer off the shelf CoP designs at this time and thus each CoP I make requires a bit of design and patterning work to fit the customer.

I can make a very generalized pattern though and/or use a customer provided cut list to bring the cost down.

If theres a ton of interest in these kits I'll probably make a bunch of off-the-shelf patterns and stock them.
