Celtic Smith???

Post by RandallMoffett »

Has anyone every heard of this armoury? I have a friend who dropped a fair amount of cash there and they appear to have hightailed it with his money. They are in the Czech Rep. from what he said but I cannot find their website.

Just wondering if anyone else has done business with them?

I used to see him on several markets around here, but I haven't seen him for some time. Petr Melč was the man running the business and making everything.
Apparently, his website doesn't work anymore and forwards you to some casino site.

I did some googling, and found this:
http://www.myarmoury.com/talk/viewtopic.php?p=161247
Since Petr Melč tragically died last year, such knives are not available any longer. It is still in the same condition that it was when I bought it, apart from being resharpened.

This would be very bad news, but I don't know any further details. Maybe some of the Czech people frequenting this forum know more?

Edit:
I searched further, and here's some more possible contact info:
http://petr-melc-artes-ferrae.czech-trade.pl/
All my other leads are in Czech or information about which markets he visited. Sorry.

Thanks Koas!

I usually try to start these somewhat delicate posts as well as I can in the possibility of such situations. That would be sad indeed if he has passed on. Thank you for your help in searching for him. I did several searchs under his name and business but came up with very little. Thanks again!
