SCA rattan baselard dagger (with scabbard) SOLD

Post by Vitus von Atzinger »

This rattan baselard dagger was constructed with wood added to a solid rattan handle/tang. Then the whole handle was coated with two coats of epoxy, sanded and then painted to give the illusion of a real baselard dagger.

The handle is decorated with brass round-head nails to give the proper historical look. The paint has been left without a clear coat so that the dagger handle can be easily touched up and looking new.

The dagger comes with a custom scabbard (like the one pictured here) in whatever color combos you choose. Belts come with the scabbard but are not pictured.

This is very likely the only weapon of it's kind in the SCA, and is PERFECT as the ultimate bling sidearm for the Pas and events like the Combat of Thirty.

$150 firm
